Notes/General Info	The man known as Cherch is a mystery to all that know him, he is even a mystery to himself. approximately 20 years ago a federation vessel exploring near the region know as the badlands, found 2 Betazoid children on a very inhospitable planet. One was a 3 year old Betazoid girl and the other was a 6 year old Betazoid boy and they could not speak a word. They communicated through their telepathic abilities and must have done so from birth. They were taken back to Starfleet headquarters where an admiral took them into her family, the children were taught how to speak and received the best education the admiral could get them. When asked his name just 2 years later he said his name was Cherch. Scientists were puzzled to explain how the 2 had manifested their telepathic and empathic abilities so early in life and it seemed the children were capable of much more. Cherch could also feel subspace fluctuations such as communication frequencies that normal sensors could not and he could in some cases catch mental glimpses of the future. Seeing that he was much more than an ordinary Betazoid scientists jokingly referred to him as a Cetazoid. He applied for Starfleet academy and graduated with high honours along side his friend Brad Reeves. They both served on the Majestic together and the two had escaped their deaths together when it was destroyed. Having felt the emotional tidal wave of hundreds of his friends dying at once he took a year mental leave so could he could heal. During that year he married a Bajoran militia officer and they had a daughter together. He later rejoined Brad on the Carla Romsey and worked as a spy against the Dominoin whenever he could and earned a medal for his many efforts to free Betazed from Dominoin control. Cherch’s wife and daughter live on Bajor and his biological parents are still unknown. His sister became a Starfleet Diplomat and has worked on many first contact missions. When he heard there was a position open on the Constant he jumped at the chance and is now the conn officer.*Unknown to Cherch and his sister a week after his rescue there was communication from a Breen ship in the vicinity of the planet requesting the return of their Carlok Retne but when Starfleet answered that they did not know what that was and asked if they knew about Cherch or his sister they never responded and have yet to since. Scientists also found an unknown DNA strand in each child and they still have been able to discover what it is.
