| Notes: | Born on a Romulan colony in the neutral zone in 2350. His father was a human in Starfleet, Captain Mark Reeves. His mother was a romulan terraformer, Major Laur'El. He grew up on the colony with his mother and sisters until a Klingon attack destroyed the colony. He was 16 at the time, old enough to fight off the Klingons with other colonists, of the 2480 romulan colonists only 670 survived, his family survived. A Federation ship brought relief to the colony and when it left so did Brad. He lived on Vulcan until he was 18 and entered Starfleet Academy. He proved himself a valuable addition to Starfleet and graduated with high honors. He spent his first 5 years of duty on the U.S.S Majestic and was awarded a medal during the Klingon war. He was promoted to Lieutenant first class when the dominoin war began and became tactical officer. The Majestic was lost during the battle to take back DS9, he escaped in an escape pod with his commander and helmsman. He was reassigned to the Carla Romsey where he was made tactical officer once again and awarded another medal. He served out the rest of the dominoin war aboard the Carla Romsey but now wants a transfer so he can get back in action. His father was killed during the storm against the dominoin's lines in 2375. His mother and 4 younger sisters now reside on Vulcan. His older sister enlisted in the Romulan empire and her whereabouts are unknown. Although an exceptionally loyal officer he has always hid a deep seeded hate for the Klingons and Cardassians.During the Maquis rebellion there was a crisis in the Romulan Star Empire. The Romulan government felt that the Tal Shiar and their new ally, the Obsidian Order, would soon start a civil war in the Empire. A number of top ranking Federation officials saw this alliance between the quadrants most powerful intelligence agencies a threat to the Federation. So The United Federation of Planet and The Romulan Star Empire allied secretly to stop their common foe. An elite task force of both Federation and Romulan officers were put together, a number of personnel that the Federation contributed were ex-Maquis who were promised freedom if they helped. One of the officers chosen by Starfleet was Lt. Brad Reeves who was given an assumed name to be used only on this mission. The task force was given a ship built using both Romulan and Federation technology, the Romulans of course contributed a cloaking device, a completely unique and powerful ship, the blueprints were destroyed after it’s construction. So off this ragtag crew was sent, it’s mission was to make sure the alliance of the Tal Shiar and Obsidian Order never came to pass. The ship operated on it’s own, never being allowed to contact with any other Federation or Romulan vessel, they became guerilla fighters and had to rely on other renegades like the Maquis to survive. The entire operation was code named “Impending Nova” and it took a little more than a year to succeed in their mission. Brad became a very dependable officer who could always fight his way out of tough situation and find potential allies in the most unexpected places. The ship and all information about the operation were destroyed. Afterwards Brad returned to the Majestic and was sworn never to divulge any of these events ever again though he never knew he would run into one fo the men who organized thioperation ever again, Captain TJC. | |
